Ponga
Ponga is the Māori term for the native New Zealand tree fern, more commonly known as 'Punga'. Ponga’s design is based around the cylindrical trunk of a Ponga tree. Overtime, these trunks tend to hollow out if the tree has sustained partial damage allowing bacteria into the trunk causing a cavity to form.
The lamp is comprised of an eighteen piece configuration of sustainably grown bamboo plywood, illuminated by a unique five watt LED array.
